SnippetPad is developed by buildwith.sreehari@gmail.com (“we”). We collect limited analytics and diagnostics only to improve reliability and user experience. We do not run our own backend, we do not show personalized ads, and we do not sell your data.

Details

Analytics and crash reporting are provided by trusted partners (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics or similar). Data is used in aggregate to understand app reliability and usage patterns. We do not combine this data with information that directly identifies you.

Data storage & retention

We do not operate our own servers for your app data.
Your app content remains on your device. (No iCloud sync in this version.)
Analytics/diagnostics are stored by our providers for limited periods under their default retention policies.

Tracking

We do not use data for cross‑app tracking or personalized advertising. We do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.

Keyboard Extension Privacy

SnippetPad includes an optional custom keyboard extension that allows you to insert your saved snippets into other apps.

The SnippetPad keyboard does not record, capture, store, or transmit what you type.
The keyboard does not monitor keystrokes in any app.
The keyboard does not send any typed content to any server.
The keyboard does not make any network requests.

The keyboard only accesses snippets that you have created inside the main SnippetPad app. These snippets are stored locally on your device and shared securely with the keyboard using Apple's App Group container. No snippet content is transmitted off your device.

Full Access is not required for the SnippetPad keyboard to function in this version.

In-App Purchases (Subscription)

SnippetPad offers an optional monthly subscription ("SnippetPad Premium") to unlock premium features.

All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive, store, or process your credit card or payment information.
Subscription status is verified using Apple’s in-app purchase system.

The subscription automatically renews monthly unless canceled through your Apple ID account settings. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in:

Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

We only receive non-sensitive subscription status information (such as whether your subscription is active) to unlock premium features inside the app.

Children’s privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can delete the app to remove local data stored on your device.
If we add an in‑app analytics toggle in a future update, it will appear in Settings.
